That said, I wrote this three years ago and might tweak it with how I've been using it over the years and what it actually does.

Dustin Stout is most definitely a Christ follower. Magai itself is not a “Christian AI” in the sense of being trained only on Christian material or guaranteed to give biblically sound answers. My website and blog is for Christian writers, so the point of indicating this is a good tool for Christian authors and writers is because I know my audience.

That said, perhaps you're misunderstanding how Magai works, as it's not Magai itself that is the LLM, it’s more like a dashboard or workspace that lets you access several major AI models (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc...) in one place. Why pay for all those when you can have access to them all in one single subscription?

So whether you get “biblical” or “worldly” answers depends heavily on how you prompt it, which model you choose, and how carefully you evaluate the response. I would never recommend treating any AI tool as a spiritual authority. It can help with drafting, brainstorming, summarizing, outlining, and research support, but Scripture, prayer, and discernment still matter.

On privacy: Magai states that user requests are routed to third-party AI providers for processing, but that they have opted out of user data being stored or used by those providers to train future models. They also state that user conversations do not train AI models. That said, I still would not put highly sensitive, confidential, or unpublished material into any AI tool unless I was comfortable with the platform’s privacy policy.

Hope that helps.

Re: The Future of Christian Writing: How Magai’s AI Technology is a Game Changer

The headline indicates that Magai is better for Christians than other AI tools. But nothing in the article is Christian specific.

I'd like to know if Magai is going to take my content and give it to others without crediting me.

I'd like to know if Magai is going to give me biblical answers or worldly answers.

I'd like to know if the creators are Christ followers.

Re: Wiping Prophetic Egg Off My Face

Somehow I missed this and am just seeing it now. Nothing. I don't think you had egg on your face at all.
The clip you shared with him on Brown's show also indicates that that was not his own expectation... people were accusing him of predicting a Trump win... he was not saying at that time, "this is what this means." Sorry, but we have falsely attributed a fulfilled prophecy in this case. He never spoke that at all.

Re: Speaking in Tongues – The “Least” of the Spiritual Gifts?

But 1 Corinthians ch 14 makes it very clear as to what the gift of languages is not some unknown gibberish.

Re: The People Jesus Didn’t Heal

I have one question. I am studying, 'questions Jesus asked,' and came across your article here online. One of the questions was, "Do you want to get well?" from the passage in John 5: 1-18, where Jesus went to the healing pool and asked the lame man this question. Please note: He did not ask if the man wanted to be healed, but rather, did he want to be 'well.' Of course the man was lame and couldn't walk, but further study suggests that people that were lame, blind, or incapacitated in some way typically had help from others in the community (otherwise, how did he come to be at the healing pool?). With this being said, the lame man did NOT go to Jesus for healing. Nor did the woman possessed by demons. Nor did the leper, whose path Jesus came across. So your article suggests definitively, that IF you do not take your infirmities to Jesus, you will not be healed. However; we see many examples of people that did not seek Jesus out for healing, but Jesus healed anyway out of His grace and mercy, so they would believe. I just would like clarification for those who may not even know that they are sick, or those who are questioning what is preventing them from having prayers answered. Surely there are those who do not believe, who are sinners (we all are) that are healed; and believers, who have been genuinely repentant, that have not been healed. Any comments? Thanks.

Re: Expert Warning: How Using AI Narrators COULD Backfire for Authors

Hey Star Gazer
I somehow missed this comment and just saw it now. As for the idea narrators aren't answering you or are too busy, did you publish a specific price you were willing to pay? If it was too low for most, then that might be a reason. As a narrator, I don't even bother looking at some of the places where auditions are posted, because of how rarely a decent pay is offered by the authors.

If you were posting a price you were willing to pay, and it was reasonable, but you still got no responses, it could be that not many narrators have seen it. I no longer bother auditioning for audiobooks because the pickings are offering little pay whenever I look for things in my niche. On some occasions when I look at the audition script, I see so many errors that I think it's not worth the bother, even if the pay will be reasonable, because proof reading an author's manuscript and giving them all the errors I find while preping is NOT my job as a narrator, so again, I skip such books. Just some thoughts from a narrator's perspective.

I also often have people reach out to me through my website who want me to lower my rate or sell myself short, and I jut don't bother answering such requests. The double-edged sword is that making an audiobook is a lot of work for a human narrator, hence why we charge what we'd like to be compensated for doing it, while on the other hand, the price can be so cost-prohibitive for many bootstrapping authors that going AI is an easy, faster and cheaper (or free) way to bypass the price issue.

I'd be curious to hear all these months later what you wound up doing.

Re: Expert Warning: How Using AI Narrators COULD Backfire for Authors

I've been reading a lot of doom and gloom about A.I. book narration. As a new author with the first book of a series published in the big three formats, I wanted to publish it in the audiobook market. I read about the A.I. narrator option, thought nah, I'll feed a human. Humans need money to buy food and stuff to live on, so I sent out my audition requests on four large platforms/voice actors auditions three weeks ago. Not a single response! Nothing nada! I decided, OK, they must be really busy or feel they don't need my support! So, I checked out some of the many available AI options, with more coming daily. Wow! There are a lot of them, and more are coming every week. Not only do they want to play ball, but they also take swings at every pitch! Now I'm a bit conflicted! Do I sit on my duff for several more weeks with no response from the human narrators? Move ahead with my projected release schedules with a ready, willing, and able AI narrator? I'm so confused!

I'm sure a human narrator responding to my comment will try to convince me I am somehow wrong or to blame... The AI narrator will just complete the narration. I thought, but they can't measure up to the humans. Well, they do. Just ask ACX - Audible. The quality of AI seems to be improving beyond ACX and Audible every day. I'm glad all of these human narrators are too busy to be bothered with my project. It means their future is secure! Meanwhile, I need to get started on this audiobook, and knowing that humans have plenty of work to keep them well-fed, I will not feel bad using AI! It's a win-win, cool! If that's not the case, life's competitive! Keep up or get left behind!

Re: Speaking in Tongues – The “Least” of the Spiritual Gifts?

Where did Paul teach doing tongues wrongly or babbling with no interpreter is Satanic?

Re: Speaking in Tongues – The “Least” of the Spiritual Gifts?

Tongues has been grossly counterfeit in the churches. But you’re right people say 1 Corinthians 12:28 says it’s the least of the gifts and it doesn’t say that at all. But the churches are out of line the way they all babble with no interpreter. It’s from Satan if its not from God and I want nothing to do with those churches doing that.

Re: Talking TO People Instead of ABOUT Them: A Personal Reflection

That was a good article

Re: Was Isaiah A False Prophet?

"We" don't ignore it. Honestly I'm close to being in category 2 maybe even 3. I'm tired of going to church and feeling alone in a room full of people with their nice Christian smiles on, doing the weekly Christian duties, wondering if there's more to this faith then going to church, throwing some bills into a plate, listening to sermon I'll forget by lunch without any lasting change or product. I'm tired. I want to BE the church instead of just going to it. I want more than a weekly ego-boost for some at the front. I'm tired of doing church stuff, I want to do what I read in Acts. I want real Christ-centered relationship and discipleship. Surely Christ didn't die an agonizing solitary death and bore the brunt of God's judgment for a building with hierarchical structure more interested in land acquisition, size and influence then taking the gospel to a dying and lost world. surely I ought to be about more. I'm just so tired and exhausted of the machine. I'll probably keep going to church because of Hebrews 10:25, but surely there's got to be a better way. again I don't even know I'm commenting here, its not like I'll find the answer here. so tired.

Re: Speaking in Tongues — Are You Saved If You Don’t Do It?

yes. as a catholic we go by st paul saying we are all mediators in christ r co workers. this means jesus apostles, or someone who brings you a bible , someone who teaches you to pray or someone like elizabeth and mary who rejoice in jesus, or mary carrying salvation in her womb.. but protestants think we are saying we are the mediators to direct salvation as if we are substituting jesus atonement for these things. its confusing so i just say we are all co workers in christ to protestants. none of us are mediating the actual salvation in blood shed by Jesus himself

Re: Speaking in Tongues — Are You Saved If You Don’t Do It?

it can be in hebrew and interpreted by priests. i was saved and heard Jesus tell me to build his kingdom and tongues was the language worshipping the lamb in revelation

Re: Speaking in Tongues — Are You Saved If You Don’t Do It?

contact presentation ministries or gbc. guadalupe bible college in ohio. i went to the charismatic college. they can help you. i speak tongues that feel like hebrew, or jesus talking, tongues that are one language of nature and write tongues
